I do other things in my job and plan just a few events per year. Do I qualify to attend the Planner Master Class?

If you can say ‘yes’ to at least one of the following, you are qualified to attend:

You hold the title of meeting or event planner or the like,
Your role requires you to plan or assist with at least three events per year,
You have an annual event budget of $15,000 or more.

Are there any CEU units associated with the Planner Master Class or any of your other events?

Yes! You can earn CMP credits through most Planner Master Class events. Check the actual event page for details.

Can you explain how the round tables work and who runs them?

Each Planner Master Class features a unique set of round table discussions. Each topic is chosen to drive discussion around current trends in the meeting and event industry. Some topics will also be crafted to create discussion around the skills needed to become a better planner.

Our company produces most of our events internally, like training workshops, employee luncheons, board meetings, c-level outings, etc. Would I find attending the Master Class still beneficial?

Yes, you will, the majority of your time spent at a Planner Master Class is spent learning from your peers on industry topics and trends. You will leave the event having new ideas to incorporate into your own events, an expanded network of fellow planners, and learn about some new businesses you can partner with on your events.

Sometimes, I go to planner networking events, and it seems to be all vendors and a few planners, will I be able to meet fellow planners, or will I be outnumbered by vendors?

The Planner Master Class was created by planners for planners, so we designed the format of this event with that in mind. The event was made to make it easy for you to meet planners too, our ratio of planners to vendors has been no less than 6 planners to 1 vendor – the opposite of most planner events.

What kinds of businesses participate in the Planner Master Class series?

We have had all kinds of businesses participate in a Planner Master Class. Each Planner Master Class is a little different, given the mix of businesses that participate. Types of businesses that have participated include new and established venues, catering companies, bars and restaurants, transportation, A/V, entertainment, branded gifts & printing, attractions, and more.

I'm not a planner, but my company is interested in participating in a Planner Master Class. Can I attend?

No, not unless you are a sponsor or plan to attend one with someone from our sales team to see it. Just fill out this form, and someone from our sales team will reach out to schedule a meeting and walk you through your options.
